Anne Semonin combines makeup and skincare with new launch

French skincare brand Anne Semonin has released Glow Instant Radiance Essence, a complexion enhancer that claims to give the skin a healthy glow while also delivering skincare benefits.

The essence, which was created by Anne Semonin owner Aline Marcadet, is designed to complement all skin tones and has a lightweight bi-phase formula that features ingredients rich in antioxidants, essential fatty acids and beta-carotene, to brighten the complexion and fight signs of ageing.

The formula includes apricot kernel oil, which contains vitamins A and E and essential fatty acids, including omegas 6 and 9 and palmitic acid, to hydrate the skin and repair the protective skin barrier.

Other ingredients include tomato seed oil, Buriti oil and natural orange water selected to restore the skin, protect from UVA/UVB rays and deliver essential nutrients into the skin.

The formula is non-shimmer and tan free so can be easily removed when cleansing.

It features micro-prism pigments selected for their light polarising properties, and are used to reflect light and to add radiance to the skin.

Aline Marcadet, CEO at Anne Semonin, said: “The Glow is a fusion between makeup and skincare for those women (and men) that want a healthy sun-kissed look all year round without the need for self-tanning or foundation. In addition its powerful anti-oxidant and super-nourishing ingredients help restore skin radiance and luminosity by adapting to all skin tones in an intelligent way. This is a real must-have product.”

Anne Semonin’s Glow Instant Radiance Essence will be available from May 1 2017.
